SOUTHBOUND AT CALDER

Road construction on IH 45-Gulf Freeway at Calder in Galveston County is expected to create delays for motorists traveling in the area Friday evening. Beginning at 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 29, crews will close the left lane on IH 45 southbound at Calder. At 9:00 p.m., they will close the remaining southbound mainlanes. Then at 11:00 p.m., the left lane on IH 45 northbound will be closed. All lanes will be reopened to traffic by 7:00 a.m., Saturday, January 30.

1. The Home buyer tax credit will soon end on April 30th. First time home buyers can qualify to receive a $8,500 credit and buyers who are current home owners can qualify for a $6,500 credit.  Considering it takes 30-45 days to close after you have found the home of your dreams you need to start your search today.

Extreme Makeover has partnered with Blu Shields construction for the build.
